He is Allah, the Creator, the Inventor of all things, the Bestower of forms. To Him belong the Best Names. All that is in the heavens and the earth glorify Him. And He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.[4]
Fatir
Say [O Muhammad], “Shall I take as a Lord-Protector any other than Allah the Creator of the heavens and earth? And it is He Who feeds but is not fed.” Say, “Verily, I am commanded to be the first of those who submit themselves to Allah.” And be not you [O Muhammad] of the polytheists.[5]
“My Lord! You have indeed bestowed on me sovereignty and taught me something of the interpretation of dreams – the Creator of the heavens and earth! You are my Lord-Protector in this world and in the Hereafter. Cause me to die as a Muslim and join me with the righteous.”[6]
Their Messengers said, “What! Can there be doubt about Allah the Creator of the heavens and earth? He calls you that He may forgive you of your sins, and give you respite for term appointed.” They said, “You are no more than human beings like us! You wish to turn us away from what out fathers used to worship. Then bring us a clear authority.”[7]
