Why should Allah [swt] punish you if you have thanked and have believed in Him. And Allah [swt] is Ever All-Appreciative, All-Knowing? Allah [swt] does not like that the evil should be uttered in public except by him who has been wronged. And Allah [swt] is Ever All-Hearer, All-Knower.[32]
O mankind! Verily there has come to you the Messenger with the truth from your Lord. So believe in him it is better for you. But if you disbelieve then certainly to Allah [swt] belongs all that is in the heavens and the earth. And Allah [swt] is Ever All-Knowing, All-Wise.[33]
They ask you for a legal verdict. Say, “Allah [swt] directs about the heirless. If it is a man that dies leaving a sister but no child she shall have half the inheritance. If a woman who left no child, her brother takes her inheritance. If there are two sisters they shall have two-thirds of the inheritance; if there are brothers and sisters the male will have twice the share of the female. [Thus] does Allah [swt] make clear to you [His Law] lest you go astray. And Allah [swt] is All-Knower of everything.[34]
And remember Allah [swt]’s Favour to you and His Covenant with which He bound you when you said, “We hear and we obey.” And fear Allah [swt]. Verily Allah [swt] is All-Knower of that which is in [the secrets of your] breasts.[35]
