Islam was founded by Prophet Muhammad in Makkah and Madinah, Saudi Arabia.<\/p>\n
The followers of Islam are called “Muslims.”<\/p>\n
The word \u201cIslam\u201d means to submit one\u2019s will to the one and only God Whom they call \u201cAllah\u201d.<\/p>\n
The Angel Gabriel delivered revelations from God to Prophet Muhammad in the period 610 CE to 632 CE. These revelations were memorised by the first generation of followers called the Companions.<\/p>\n
After the death of Prophet Muhammad in 632 CE, his Companion, Abu Bakr, who led the Muslim nation as Khalifah<\/i> [Commander of the Believers], arranged to have the divine revelations collected in a book, called the \u201cQur\u2019an.”<\/p>\n
Since Muhammad was a Prophet and Messenger of God, everything he said or did in connection with Islam was inspired by God. Therefore, many reports of his sayings and deeds were collected as \u201chadith.” These hadiths provide the source for the practice of Islam<\/a>.<\/p>\n From our rational understanding of God, we have deduced <\/a>that:<\/p>\n God is Uncaused<\/a><\/p>\n God is the Cause of the universe<\/a><\/p>\n God is One<\/a><\/p>\n God is Self-Sufficient<\/a><\/p>\n God is Transcendent<\/a><\/p>\n God is Not Immanent and is Immaterial<\/a><\/p>\n God has an Independent Will<\/a><\/p>\n God is All-Powerful<\/a><\/p>\n God is All-Knowing<\/a><\/p>\n God is Personal<\/a><\/p>\n God is Eternal<\/a><\/p>\n We can now conclude that the Muslim God confirms our rational understanding of God derived from the cosmological causal argument<\/a>.<\/p>\n Therefore Islam passes the nature of God test<\/a>.<\/p>\n For the avoidance of doubt, I now set out below additional arguments in favour for the existence of the Muslim God:<\/p>\n
